How many eggs do button quail lay

I don't know how to breed them. Maybe just look for a breeder who sells them? But it might be difficult to find one in your area. If you have mutation/colour questions, ask @blackoaktammy.

About inbreeding, just separate any closely related quail. Are you keeping them in one large enclosure, or pairing them off?

Pairing them at the moment buying only one pair but if I like any of there offspring I’ll keep them

I would love to, but both my bobwhites died
The breeder I got them from wasn't very reliable. I think he inbreeds his birds badly (found that out after I got them). That probably explains the poor hatch rates.

Maybe when I find a better bobwhite breeder I'll get more.

Yeah, they were my only bobs. I actually got them as adult birds. Bobwhites are quite hard to get around here.
