How many eggs do you average a day?

The threads about how many eggs you got today are great but I'm more interested in how many I collect in a week or two weeks from my flock and then figuring the average daily production.

What's your daily average and how many hens are in your flock?

I get one egg a day from each laying hen. Sometimes they will skip sunday, sometimes not so six or seven eggs a week per laying bird. Hope this helps.

Most of my girls are laying 1 per day. I have 10 hens and have been getting 8 eggs daily from them. However 1 girl is down with a cold so the past week she has not been laying, and Brownie still is not up to laying like she use to. Her feathers have grown back pretty much after the neighbor lady plucked them out of her, and her sides will be scarred for life from being cut. But she is getting there, and I found another egg in the box yesterday that came from her, it was almost pearly white. Yesterday 9 total eggs. Now if only more folks would start buying my eggs for eating or hatching.

We have five hens and average 3.85 eggs a day for the past two months. Now that we are in the longer day/warmer months it will inch up to 4 probably
