How many eggs do your chickens lay?

My chicken Matilda lays 6 eggs a week!

Our Buttons lays about 6 per week as well.

Our other two, Zippy and Astrid, are less predictable but generally lay 3-4 per week.

Does anyone have any chickens that lay for months and never skip a day?

My year old EE lays about 5 a week as does my 7 year old EE. My 7 year old Cuckoo Marans doesn't lay in winter. She typically lays about 3 a week during the warm seasons. I don't think I have any who never skip a day!

Wow that's a lot of eggs! Yes they lay very well for their age. Sometimes they'll stop completely for a month or so, but then start back laying almost daily.
