How many eggs does your Silkie lay? Mine's an egg-laying machine!

After a slow start (first egg laid 18 days before the second egg) she has now laid 3 eggs in four days! I am surprised because from the reading I have done, I figured I'd get a couple of eggs a week from her, at best. She's already topped that and it's only Wednesday! I am so glad that I didn't tell her she was a Silkie.

I get an egg a day from my silkie Sara although every now and then she skips a day!

Hot dog! The literature I read said 50-120 eggs a year. I assumed I'd get roughly one a week. This is eggcellent news!
