how many eggs till hen goes broody ?

I mean I will wait and see if one will start sitting on them they are laying 2- 3 eggs a day I figure wait till Sunday . I'll start building another incubator now just in case if they are not sitting one them on sunday I will put them in the incubator

well my black hen went broody after I took all the eggs out lol so funny my impatients did it again now I'm wondering if I put some of the eggs back and a few banty eggs will she hatch them ? I know she will the normal size eggs but the bantys is what I'm wondering about ? I'm going to put them under her tonight that way she doesn't freak out on me lol I went to feed her earlier and she pecked me lol <3 my hens lol

If she's broody, she should sit on any kind of egg you put under her: chicken, duck, guinea, turkey, whatever. The size of the eggs won't matter to her.
