how many eggs under really small bantam?

Hi,

i have a d'uccle millie who went broody yesterday and she is really really tiny. How many eggs can I put under her? Anyone any ideas? She weighs oh i would say less tha a 1 lb to a lb. ErinM

I dont think you could "safely" fit more than 3 regular-sized chicken eggs under her. MAYBE 4 silkie/banty eggs, but that might be pushing it.

Try as many as she can cover.

all depends on the nest box.. a nice fit then you can put more.
