13 eggs today. Lost another hen a couple of days ago. Appears to have died of natural causes. It was at least 3 years old. Could have been older.

Well, there are 8 hens. Missy(see avatar) is almost 6 yrs old and only lays on rare occasions. Everyone else is perking along now. I average 5-6 eggs per day. Am doing a water glassing experiment with the extra eggs. Will see how it goes.

I got 5 out of 6 today! And now all of them are squatting! I could hardly get in the gate tonight for lockup because they all ran up and squatted!
