13 today. I gave up 6 of those for my new broody girl. She sat on fake eggs all night and all day today. She earned her eggs. While I was swapping fake for real, she growled and fussed but never got off the nest. She’s a Dominique that’s one of my youngest pullets. I know I’m crazy but it’s almost as if she knew I was giving her good eggs and let me do whatever needed to be done. She never tried to peck at me. She got a good mix from the entire flock. Hopefully we’ll get a good hatch from her.

4, but forgot to collect yesterday, 3 hens, 1 broody, so only two girls laying in left nesting box. (where all 4 eggs were found) Mine are laying machines!
