So when we first got our three hens we noticed that one hen in particular would always be in the laying station for a really long time and when we came out there would be two eggs! Now I’m not 100% certain but I think she is laying two eggs at a time sometimes. Could someone who has more experience with these things tell me if this is actually possible?!
Thanks

Chickens can lay one egg every 24 hours or so. Buffs like to lay on others’ eggs. If her neck feather raise up and she growls a little then she is broody! You don’t want a broody hen unless you have a rooster and want to raise chicks. Let me know if this helps.
