how many eggs ?

I have 4 standart pullets and like to know ( on the average ) - how many eggs we could expect from those ladies - I know that it will be different depending on molting and season- but maybe an estimate according to your experience ?
I don't want to have to buy eggs ever again and would rather add another lady now than wait until my chicks are big

We have one gold star sex linked, 2 wyandottes and one barred rock lady

I would appreciate your input...

your sex link will have an egg almost every day. I would expect around 3-4 eggs a day from them while there young and at least 2 a day when they get older.

- now we just have to spoil the ladies and make them as comfortable as possible

I agree with the other posts. 2-4 eggs per day. As long as you don't wash them you can leave them out on your counter for a couple of weeks or more. Once you wash them they must be refrigerated.

11 eggs a week for the first two years. On average.
