I have a question : how often will a Rhode Island Red and bufforpington chickens lay eggs? They are eating plent and have adequate living conditions....

You should get an egg per day from them (on occasion it'll be every other day).
Laying will also slow down when they're molting and during winter.
But under optimum conditions, you'll get an egg a day while they're young.

Ours lay every other day during the spring, when it's cooler out only a few times a week if at all. Really depends on age and other factors etc...
