how many standard girls would be ok to be together in a 9x16 coop? just to make sure, i have right now 2 standards and 2 bantams.

I have an 8'X12' coop and all 37 chickens live peacefully in there, but keep in mind that I let them out during the day so they only roost in there at night.

At the recommended 4 sq. ft. per standard chicken, you could fit 36 chickens in the coop. However, if they can be outside all day and only in the coop to sleep (such as Superman mentioned), I am sure there is some wiggle room.
