...can a Black Sex-linked hen brood? She is average size and I want a the maximum amount with the best hatch rate.

I have no idea, I only breed and raise Guineas.... So you might try asking that question over in the Chicken section, this is the Guinea Fowl section

I think she can have as many as she can cover. My guinea will have twenty or more with some two or three eggs high and some hanging out the sides. They seem to survive mis treatment but you might get a staggered hatch.
