How Many Guineas?

If you have the space, I suggest getting at least 6 so they are content with enough of their own kind and less likely to become chicken aggressive. Getting them as keets and then housing them side by side with your chickens (but separated by wire) for 6 wks (as soon as the keets are old enough to go outside) before you integrate would be a good idea. Hopefully you do not end up with too many males. But if you only have room for or only want a couple Guineas then I'd suggest just getting a couple of mature Hens... males tend to be the issue in mixed flocks more than the Hens, especially during the breeding season.
