How many hens should a Cochin rooster have?

I tried locking up 1 cockerel but it didn't work. The only way I'll keep them in this fence is to keep both cockerels locked up. I don't think they'll stop chasing the pullets no matter how many hens I have.(I had another pullet fly over the fence after being chased today)

Yeah they can be really rough when they’re young. mine got better after a bit and are now pretty good!

The pullets have the whole run but the hens aren't too happy about it.The roosters free range with them outside.The hens have a chicken tractor they can lay in if they will.I let them in and out of the coop but they're mean to the pullets too.

I'm starting to understand why people sell older hens after raising new pullets ! Managing the pullets and bossy old ladies is a full time job when you have cockerels too lol

I’m lucky my hens were fine with my pullets! But my hens are so calm!!!
