How many hens to a nest box

Hello all,
I am new here and new to chickens : ) I have 3 pullets, about 21 weeks old and a 1.5 year old bantam silkie hen.

The bantie is laying eggs, about one a day now and goes right into the nesting box...very studious and mannerly she is.

I am wondering though, for when my others start laying, is the one nest box going to be enough?

I have a small coop, an A frame with the run on the bottom. The nest box is about 2X1.

One nest box will be enough for three hens, they will share!

I have 3 hutches for my birds to lay in and each hutch has 4 good corner spots... they all seem to like the same spot... regardless if I have 8 layers or 20...

I read on-line that about 4 or 5 hens could share 1 box, but I'm no expert!

We have 4 laying boxes in the hen house but they will lay also on the top, my two leghorns will lay their eggs together, sometimes I will find as many as 3-4 eggs in a box. Others would lay in my garage so I had to put a box in there for a couple of my chickens.
