How many hens?

I have a quad of copper marans and was planning to add more hens to the flock. How many hens total could my one marans rooster accomadate? I want to add as many hens as I can but I still want to be sure that he can get to each hen without me having to add another rooster to insure fertility.

I would say 10 hens per roo.

Ok thanks. I thought at one time I had read 7-10 hens per a rooster for the larger breeds but I was just wanting to be sure.

A Maran I believe is 6 to 8 hens per roo
