How many hours do you withhold food before slaughter?

Is it 12 or 24? I think the time is getting near for us, and I need to make a plan.

I usually do no more than 24 , no less than 15 . You don't have to with hold...it's just way cleaner if you do .

I read 12 hrs on a website just last week, but for ducks.

24 hrs, but give them all the water they can drink this makes for a nice job when slaughtering.
