How many hours does it take for chicks to hatch?

I am so excited. Have our first two chicks hatching from our incubator.
How long does it usually take for them to hatch completely?

From pip to breakout varies 10 minutes to 20hours depends on the chick.

It's been 12 hrs on my first pip now. I'm starting to freak out, but don't want to mess with anything. The chick is still chirping.

It can take well over 24 hours from pip to starting to zip.

I guess mine decided to have a good night's sleep. It's starting to zip now.

They're both out of their eggs now!! However, one looks like it still has some of the egg lining stuck to it's vent/butt. Do I leave that alone or do I try to peel it off?
They're both chirping and kind of laying around. I know that's pretty normal for the first day or so, right?
