I am not sure that Guinea eggs do ship better.
I think once you get the temp and humidity down with your incubator, that if the shipped eggs are good they will hatch, except for a few duds.
You hear a lot of complaints about the USPS. Honestly, I think they do the best they can. I really like my local post office. Everyone has dropped a bucket of eggs at some point and this is true of the po also but I think they really try.
I have good luck with shipped eggs, Guinea or chicken, especially in my Genesis.
The Lyons is ok, but I like the Genesis better.
