How many is too many?

My husband has made me a duck house, 4' x5'. I have 8 ducklings, 4 buff orpington, 2 Indian runners and 2 mixed. Will this be enough room for all of them? I only plan on closing them up at night and if the weather becomes too frigid come winter. What do you guys think? I can pass on the mixed and return them to my friend if it will be too crowded once they are full grown.

Even as a night pen thats gonna be kinda crowded. You also have to think about how big of space can they have as a night pen but also live in if your ever away for a few days, or if something comes up and you won't be able to put them out or up.

I was afraid of that. I really love the runners...they are so cute. I already have two and to be honest I don't think they are the BO ducks. I think one is a runner and my farmer friend didn't realize he had given it to me. I think I will wait for the runners.

Hmm, that is kinda small. I have a 10'X6' enclosure for just 2 ducks...
