Can anybody tell me what is a safe number of males to have with 5 Red Golden females? I have 2 males in with them now but I don't want to have a problem with them fighting. They all seem to know there places but not sure if it will stay.
Thanks for your input.

Once breeding season starts you may very well have problems. If possible I would separate and put three hen with one male and two with the other. I run mine all together during winter months but always separate around now to avoid problems.

Yes,1 male can breed up to 5 or 6 hens with no problems.I would set up 2 breeding pens of them. Are all these birds related? If so,I would see if someone wants to trade males with you.
