How many nesting boxes?

I have ten chicks, a week old. We are starting to build the coop this weekend. How many nesting boxes do I need for the chickens? Do they each need their own box? Do they share?

I'll miss them when they have to move to the coop-they are in my master bath right now and I love watching and listening to them in the night!

"They" say one box per 4 chickens. Build a few extra so when you get more chickens you'll be ready!! You know you won't stop at 10!

Yes, they share boxes and even have their favorites. And you'll have all ten chickens fighting over one box! They'll work it out....don't worry.

id build 3 or 4 nestboxes.because you may want to add more hens later.
