I have ten chicks, a week old. We are starting to build the coop this weekend. How many nesting boxes do I need for the chickens? Do they each need their own box? Do they share?

I'll miss them when they have to move to the coop-they are in my master bath right now and I love watching and listening to them in the night!

"They" say one box per 4 chickens. Build a few extra so when you get more chickens you'll be ready!! You know you won't stop at 10! [IMG] Yes, they share boxes and even have their favorites. And you'll have all ten chickens fighting over one box! They'll work it out....don't worry.
