How many of you have had a Rhode Island Red hen go broody?

see my signature, got her from Tractor supply too. But they all are darker than production reds most say that hatcheries supply.

I have had lots of them go broody. I didn't know that trait has been being bred out of the RIR's. Nobody told mine that!!!

ams3651- YoU ARE LUCKY! I never see the dark kind anymore. Most are New Hamp. looking birds... sucks. I am jealous of you!!! Lol
