How many pennies?

OK, so I got bit by the incubation/hatch bug & ordered some fertile eggs. I am setting up a homemade incubator, and read in one of the articles here on BYC that putting pennies dated older than 1982 in the water tray will help keep bacterial growth down due to the copper content. I have been collecting them. Does anyone know how many pennies I should put in my humidity tray?

I have not heard this one for some time and the Romans did this some 2,000 years ago so yes there is some history to this fact but a small had full will do the trick .....
