How many pullets ? What breeds ?

Hi All !

I got my first newly hatched chicks 4 weeks ago and they are growing so fast ! I wonder if anyone could tell me the breed and sexes ? I think 2 males 3 pullets but am a total novice.

The last two are a bit bigger and stand taller than the others.

Think these are the best I have at the moment.

The "pullets" are all basically black with stripey necks and fronts. One cockerel is stripey all over and the other is black all over with a paler chest ?

Someone told me they might be hybrids of Black Rock, Maran, Speckledy (british breed I think) and Light Sussex ?

Yes, they do look like mixed breeds.

Male Black sex links are barred. Females are black with gold leakage on the breast and neck. The OP's birds are definitely mixes.

Actually the reason they look like BSL to me, is because my girl looked like them when she was a baby. She has white leakage on her breast and neck, not gold.
