Alright, this will possibly be an odd question. I'm planning for my future quail, and I want to figure out how many birds I want to keep for breeding. How many browns would it take to fill up a quart sized jar, if you're popping the breast meat off and the leg meat for canning? I'm going to say medium sized browns, because I hope to get a neat colored roo to breed to jumbo brown hens, then keep the offspring for breeding so that I can produce browns and "neat" birds.
