How many roosters is too many?

If they all get along with each other, and the pullets aren't <ahem> overworked, I don't see why you couldn't keep all your roos.

I want to keep them ALL!!!! I am going to do my best to keep my roos

I don't think I will be able to part with them just because they're roos... they must fall short of my expectations on some other level...LOL When ever I look at chickens... it's always the roos I fall in love with!

I have to agree if they are not fighting each other or beating up the hens to much and you dont care about feeding "useless" birds then keep them all. I did out of my order of 25 I ended up with 9 surviving roos and 11 hens. I have them all and so far no problems. They are almost 2 years old now.

I, too, thought I couldn't part with my roos, I had 9. But as they grow, some are nasty and some are brutal with the ladies, and I found I had no problem rehoming them.
