How many Roosters per hen

Can anyone tell me how many Roosters you should have per hen? I have Red Stars, Dominique's, and some game chickens. I have 12 hens and 11 Roosters and they are always fussing. I get 12 eggs a day and but none of them are fertile. When a rooster jumps a hen another rooster comes to her rescue. Please somebody help me

wow... thats alot of roosters!! 1 roo per 10 hens is a good number. Are you breeding? Maybe pick the best one and then let the others go, rehome or freezer camp? Good luck

Good lord that's a lot of roosters! What if you got down to just one, or two if they will get along okay (a big 'if', esp. as they get older and esp. if they are in a run rather than free-ranging). The current situation sound very very stressful for all the chickens.

Wow too many roosters!!!! I have two roosters (one standard sized and one banty frizzle) with 18 standard sized hens, works great.

Whoa, too many roos. 1 roo per 10 to 12 hens is ideal. I had 2 roos per 23 girls and still had a problem with #1 Stubby whipping #2 Curly off the girls. Do have fertile eggs, but I'd lay money they're all fertile by Stubby.

You only need 1 roo for those 11 hens.

Thank's a million everyone. I'm going to try to give them away. I have red stars and Dominiques and a couple of game roosters surely somebody will take them off my hands lol
