How many roosts?

My new coop is 4X10X6 and I am about done with it. I will have 6 nesting boxes along one wall (3 across and 2 tall ln one of the short walls) and was wondering how many roosting places I should have. I will have 11 chickies in the coop in the next few weeks, 4 of them will be bantams. I plan to make the roosts out of 2x4's.

And should you make roosting places out in the yard? They will be brought in at night.

Well...I would think...you will need 2 roost. One for the smaller bantams, one for the larger hens. I would make them about 7 feet long, if possible..and stagger the heights. The "top hens" will get the higher roost. Something for then in the yard would be great as long as they cant get over the fence with it! LOL
