How Many Times Have You Been Pecked in the Face?

I've had a few tooth pecks but mainly I've suffered facial scratches from a well meaning fledgling trying to fly off a roost bar onto my head, missed and raked me down the side of my face with their claws. I still have one or two scars on my jaw from their well meaning stunts.

And I quickly learned there is no easy way to bandage up such a boo boo.

They know if I ignore them! I start too feel pecking on my leg.

I got pecked in the nose, lip (that swelled up!), and a few times on the teeth, until I wised up. They see the shine of teeth and eyeballs and can't resist. I agree with @BigBlueHen53 and @sourland: I value my eyesight.
