I just found a drawing of what my Dorkings feet look like so you can compare with yours. Mine look like the drawing on the right! Here's the link:

Go to no.15 in list 'Feet of Fowls' & click on the the number 76 in blue on the right. This will bring up the drawing. Sorry this is so complicated but my other link didn't work.
I have been doing a bit of research on this problem ( unfortunately it is very difficult for me to understand as all the writings are full of terms I don't fully understand). I will try to find out though -- I refuse to be defeated......!! I have an inkling that your 'breeder' may have been' back-breeding' within his limited stock too often & therefore they threw up this abnormality.
