How many will fit inside??

I have a tiny barn that is 11 1/2 ft. x 14 1/2 ft. inside. I am wondering how many chickens I should be able have overall ?(hint hint how many more can I buy

)

Hi again my coop is 10x11 inside and I have 20 chickens now and had 40 but sold some off. They only used the top two roosts and I have 5 roosts.
That means more room for the next batch of chicks I have coming.

I think the recommendation is something like 4 sq ft per bird. You could do pretty well in there!

You could EASILY get 30 chickens in there.....Ohhhhh the possibilities!!!

11.5 x 14.5 = 166.75 / 4 = 41.6! You can have lots more chickens! Yeah for you!

Ohhh... don't tempt me

I'm down to 24 now after losing a couple and the ones I have are only 2 weeks old so I'm guessing I should make a trip to the local farm and fleet to add before it's too late in the season. Could I mix female khalki campbell ducks with chickens?
