How many years do Marans lay eggs?

I have some black and blue Marans. Was wondering how many years they will keep laying eggs? I know they slow down as they get older, but anyone have a better idea on what they lay on average?

They aren't usually high production birds. They will lay best during the first and second season than production generally drops dramatically by the third and fourth. Most hens in general quit laying by 6-7 years, but a few go on to lay longer in there lives at a decreased rate .One of my 8 year old hens will lay about 5-8 eggs total during late spring, but most of my hens over 6 don't lay.
