How Many?

How many nesting boxes do we need in our coop?? We have 20 Black Sexlinks, 5 Leghorns. they are all suppose to be females. We also now have 15 bantes they are a straight run. At this point I dont know which are males or females as they are only days old. Thank you!

1 nest box to every 3 - 4 hens. However! - every single one of them may try to use the exact same one. Silly hens.

Make around 8 Just to be safe and to have enough. Yeah they will all use the same one most of the time.
