Ok so I'm pretty sure that I will be getting indian runners and rouens! I want to get a male and female of each breed. Will this be ok? Or do I need to get more? I really want to just stick with getting the four though if that is possible!

Well generally speaking, drakes should have at least 2-3 ducks, so the 1:1 ratio is a bit tight. I currently keep 4 ducks per drake and that will be increasing by two ducks come late spring( so each drake will have 5)

Drakes like a lot of lovin' so by keeping a few ducks per it helps spread that around.
