How Much Acv?

I use a Tablespoon of ACV and its not organic.
to a gal. of water. I have always use it in plastic/
and( knocks on wood)
no mites lice etc..and wash there waters with ACV. its a great germ killer. great for bug bites , straight from the bottle
lots of cures from it..

I've also read that ACV helps them absorb calcium.

We use 1 TBS per gallon in a plastic waterer.

No problems so far, and the new eggs we've been getting have firm shells and gorgeous yolks!

We checked at the store today, and their first eggs, tho small, are equivalent to the "medium" size sold at the grocery.

(4 BR's about 19 weeks old...only 2 are starting to lay at the moment.)

ACV does a lot for birds. I do not like the idea of giving them any other vinegar but apple cider. Considering people usually clean with white vinegar, it doesn't even sound good to give them. The ph and acidity level is the only thing white vinegar will do for them.

ACV is/does:
- Antibiotic
- Antifungal
- Immune system booster
- Provides trace minerals/elements and enzymes
- Helps to sterilize the drinker and crop
- Raises the pH of the bird's body, which in turn can help the body kill off disease and viruses
- Forms an acidic environment in the guts to aid in good gut bacteria growth
