It really depends on the quality of the birds. So many colors of the Orpingtons don't even look like Orpingtons, they've sacrificed shape for color.
If you're just in it to make a few bucks, try advertising them for your price point of $50. You'll likely sell s few. If not, drop the price until you get folks to bite.
Here, if I had the run of the mill lavender Oprs I see on this board most of the time, I'd try for $25 each, maybe $30 if the person rubbed me the wrong way.![]()
My birds would have to be very, very nice for me to ask $50 each.
