How Much are You Paying for Cornish Cross?

I have 25 from them right now and they are doing GREAT (4 weeks old)! This is my first batch of Cornish X. They also have excellent customer service.

For this current small batch of 10, we got them from Orscheln's for $1.57/ea strt run. They also had asst "Fryers", looked like RIR and BR roos for $0.99/ea. Here the 25 minimum only applies if they order them specifically for you, but doesn't apply if they are "in stock". If you go in and see a bin of CX with a "SOLD" tag or are told they are already sold it's because someone had them order the CX for them.

If I feel like doing a bigger batch, I'll just order them myself. Probably from Welp.

Glad to hear this. I'm expecting my first order from Schlecht next week. Etta was a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to it.

In Missoula, MT at Quality Supply the straight run cornish cross are $1.50 each and they are the week old. We have 30 right now under the lamp and growing plump! We will slaughter them at 10 weeks, last we had a batch we did at 8 weeks, not as big as we wanted though, they we around 61/2 lbs. each and so tasty.
