How much bigger did your egg become from first by pullet to today?

How much bigger did it get in grams. Im curious how much do they actually get.

I have several whose first eggs were in the high 40s (e.g. 48g) and now are in the high 60s or low 70s (e.g. 72g).

Wow, how many months untill they reached 65-70g?

Most of my flock started at a US Medium, mostly around 45-50g, and moved up to a Large, mostly around 60g, -- with a consistent XL, 65g, from the California White and an occasional XL from the Australorps or the Orpington x Wyandottes. -- within about 6-8 weeks.

So far the Cochin (large fowl, not bantam), and the Langshan are still laying Medium.

It can take days, weeks.... or months for eggs to get to that birds 'normal' size.
