How much coop space for 10 cornish cross?

I have a lovely, spacious coop for my egg-layers, but I am getting 10 cornish cross meat birds and I want to build a simple box coop out of scrap lumber I have on hand. My potential design comes to 7.5 sq ft. They will only sleep in it, and will free range during the day. Will that be enough space? Thanks!

You mention free ranging them - how long are you planning to grow them out prior to processing (free ranging extends the period by causing more movement and a more controlled growth rate, especially if coupled with smart placing/spacing of feeders)? CornishX are different in that you won't need to worry about roost space, etc (if they *do* roost - ie in the slower growth management approach) the roosts should be very low to prevent injury in getting up/down), but I would aim for at least 2 square feet of internal space per bird and that is only if the climate is going to be such that there won't be any days they are unable to be out and about to make use of the added space. Keep in mind that even with controlled growth management they are going to be big birds by processing time and you want to provide enough space for those bodies to be comfortable and make you the best meat possible.
