Purebred - $15+
Heinz 57 - $1-$10 (average meat-type rabbit)
I bought 57's for $1 at auction, all 11 of 'em
then I went to a swap and payed $14 for a pair, $5 for another, and $2 for an itty bitty midget bunny.
BUT! At the same time, they had rabbits running $25-$45 for Lionheads, Lops, Rexes, Harlequins, and Dutches (specialty breeds). Price varied on whether they had papers or not, quality, color, age, and gender.
Most expensive bunny: $75. And that was low for her. She was either a lionhead or a lop...maybe a mini rex? I can't remember. Blue Eyed White = Expensive. $50+. I'm specializing in them now, I'm in love with the color!
On the other side, I saw a pair of Lops for FREE on Craigslist. Including hutch, run, toys, etc.
Most I ever bought a bunny for, $19 each for a pair of Angora's. Worst health condition ever. Still have the doe, she's retired. Least, $1.
Most I ever sold for, $10 for breeding 57 meats. Least, $2.
