How much did you pay for your rabbit?

I spent $5 on mine. I have seen them for up to $35 each around here for lionheads. There are bunnies all the time on CL.
We just wanted pets so cheap is good.

I paid 5.00 for my mini rex and got her baby for free
I paid 5.00 for my mini lop eared bunny at auction
I paid 1.75 for my dutch bunny at auction
they are all nice sweet bunnies and so cute.

I bought two Lionheads just today, and spent $25 for the white girl and $40 for the brown boy. They're both incredibly cute; worth every dollar and beyond!

I paid $20 for my Standard Rex. I went to a breeder but didn't get his pedigree as I was neutering him. She wanted $30 if I got his pedigree.

Best $20 I ever spent.

The most i have paid was 20 dollars for each of my pure bred polish and holland lops. Only because i get a 30 percent employees discount. The rabbits were marked at 29.99 at the store.
Purebreds always sell for 30 at the store, and mutt bunnies usually sell for 20. If it is a large breed mutt bunny they usually go for 10.

At another store ive seen lionheads sell for like 70 but only because they were spayed and neutered from Marshall's Farms. I don't think they sell rabbits anymore though. Just ferrets.

We just paid $10 Sunday for a Jersey something. The lady was selling all of the dwarf and other varieties for $10. This was in Waterloo, IL

Purebred - $15+
Heinz 57 - $1-$10 (average meat-type rabbit)

I bought 57's for $1 at auction, all 11 of 'em

then I went to a swap and payed $14 for a pair, $5 for another, and $2 for an itty bitty midget bunny.

BUT! At the same time, they had rabbits running $25-$45 for Lionheads, Lops, Rexes, Harlequins, and Dutches (specialty breeds). Price varied on whether they had papers or not, quality, color, age, and gender.

Most expensive bunny: $75. And that was low for her. She was either a lionhead or a lop...maybe a mini rex? I can't remember. Blue Eyed White = Expensive. $50+. I'm specializing in them now, I'm in love with the color!

On the other side, I saw a pair of Lops for FREE on Craigslist. Including hutch, run, toys, etc.

Most I ever bought a bunny for, $19 each for a pair of Angora's. Worst health condition ever. Still have the doe, she's retired. Least, $1.
Most I ever sold for, $10 for breeding 57 meats. Least, $2.

We bought our Californian for $5.
We bought four five-week old Californian cross bunnies $5 each.
We have also gotten several free rabbits.
