How much do chicks eat?

The chicks are supposed to hatch next week.
It took some time but the feed place said they will have meat bird starter next week (a large costumer has ordered and they will spare me a bag).
My question is: how much should the chicks eat? They are light birds, not meat birds.
Also, should I feed the hen the same feed? Or is it a problem? She’s a Baladi. Someone said the chicks would only eat what the mother eats.
