How much do turkeys eat?

If I were to overwinter an adult tom or a hen and they ate 100% grain?

me and my husband joke around saying our turkeys have an undieing appitite they ALWAYS rush and swarm food like they havent seen food in weeks.

Plant lots of winter wheat, kale etc and they will eat it about 50% of the time.

Turkeys forage much more than chickens so if you have winter forage available they wont eat much feed. But if you do feed 100% grain, be prepared to go through about 1 lb of feed per day per bird depending on size.
