How much do you all sell your eggs for?

$3.00 a dozen. If they bring back the carton, the next dozen is only $2.75.

I don't have enough customers to have trouble keeping track of the people that bring back the cartons.....

Also, I give the first dozen eggs away free. Kinda like a drug dealer: here, these are really good. You want any more, you'll have to pay me for them.

$2.50 a dozen for standard and $2.00 a dozen for banty. I never seem to have enough eggs for all the folks who want them :)

$3 a dozen, $4 for 18. They always buy the $18.

$30 a dozen for purebred W/BW Ameraucana hatching eggs. 4 of the 5 girls laid today! Glad I have more pullets on the way up.

$2 per dozen, but we can very easily raise it to $4 a dozen, we're just going to wait until we have more production and egg colors this summer. (people buy "cage free" eggs at the store for nearly 4 a dozen. . . I'm pretty sure that truly happy free range chickens can give their eggs for the same price here.

I was getting 1.25, raised it to 1.50 and I havent sold any eggs since. Im not joking!!!! I put a ad in the paper, craigslist, and the radio, still havent sold any. Im hard boiling 4 or 5 doz aday and feeding them back to the girls just to get rid of them. I can remember 2 years ago, I couldnt keep eggs, but this year I cant get rid of them. ............

$3.00 a dozen retail.

My one store account I'm trying to go to $2.75 a dozen wholesale since it has picked up enough that I now have to buy cartons to fill that order and need to pass on the extra expense. Hopefully it won't hurt sales too much.

.....Alan.
