Our birds forage our acreage from about 6:30am - 9:00pm. They still eat out of the feeders early in the morning before we let them out and late at night before going to roost. If we're having lightening/thunderstorms, they will usually hang out in the barn and eat out of the feeders then too. But our feed bill always goes up after snow has covered the ground.
