Hi everyone. I need to sell two of my Pilgrim females and am unsure if I’m crazy on my pricing. They’re 8 weeks old (is this still considered gosling?) and very healthy. I’m in Ontario, Canada and was going to ask $75 for both of them. Does that seem reasonable? I know little goslings are a bit cheaper, but all of the hard work and brooder cleanups have been done for these girls!

Picture because I love them so much. I wouldn’t be getting rid of any of we had more room, but I don’t really need 5 geese!!

I can’t say what you should price them as but I’m sorry you have to give up two of your sweeties.
Thank you. Our last sale fell through and the kids and I were pretty relieved. We're hoping my husband just builds us their own coop so we can keep them. 🤞🤞🤞
Goslings go for about $50 each here.
That's what I was thinking they should be. I tried explaining the difference to a potential buyer the price difference between a straight run day old vs one that's sexed and through the multiple brooder change, supplement stage. Oh well, maybe we'll never find a buyer and I'll have to keep them ALL!!!

Hey take it from someone with 11 geese, five is hardly any more difficult to care for than 3, especially if the extra babies are girls.

At this point hubs is going to need to build something anyway and might as well just go a bit bigger, he just really hates the poop (they free range). We have a 2 acre pond and a few hundred acres, they have a wonderful life and I’m not about to sell them to just anyone! Maybe I’ll offer to get rid of some chickens instead, they’re not nearly as sweet ;)

Goose poo is excellent fertilizer and doesn’t cling like tar like chicken poo, advertise the pluses!
