How much does a Muscovey eat??

I have a question for all you Muscovey duck owners out there. How much feed does an adult Muscovey eat in one day? I have been thinking about getting Muscovies but my dad is worried that they will cost alot to feed. Thanks alot!

If you have a large yard and they are allowed out they will find a lot to eat on their own. Not only do you use less feed but they'll eat snails and slugs and all kinds of bugs.

It really depends. Things like temperature, amount of forage, whether or not they free-range, type of food, whether or not they are laying, broodiness, age, size, etc will affect their food consumption.

Its like asking how much humans eat.

mine seem like they eat as much as i let them.Mine are sneeky and go eat all of the dogs food .They will watch you put food in the dog dish and sprint up after you walk away its so funny.

A couple of my hens do that, it's all my fault though, i spoiled them when they were brooding
