How much feed

I've been thinking about ordering some color rangers in a few months. How much feed should they consume per 25 birds till butcher time? I realize there are some variables, but I'm talking ball park, how many 50# bags? I've been using Trip-L-duty, and kind of plan on continuing to do so.

well if they average 4lbs each times 25 birds = 100 lbs . Works out to be about 3 lbs of feed to 1 lb of dressed meat. so that would give you about 300 lbs of food which would equal 6 - 50lb sacks. Most of the time it is less but that will give you a good estimate.
